Holy Grail Nail Polish Remover.

After trying countless nail polish remover for the last few years(Including acrylic nail ones..OUCH!) I have finally found my holy grail polish remover. It's OPI's Expert Touch.

This little guy is a strong one. One cotton swab will get all ten little piggies. It's a little pricey, at $5.95 for the medium bottle. I decided to test it out and only purchased the 1 fl.ounce bottle ( $1.50)It lasted me so long and works so well that it justified going back and getting a bigger 4 fl. ounce version for the 6 dollar price tag.
The thing that I love the most about it is the fact that my nails don't feel dry after I use the product nor do I get that greasy feeling other "moisturizing" removers give.

It does contain acetone so it smell a little bit like our mother's nail polish removers but it feels so much better on my cuticles and nail beds than older removers.

Definitely a recommended product for removing those sheer polishes that require more than 2 coats.i.e OPI Bubble Bath.
The only down side to this little gem is that like every other remover out there it's not a winner when it comes to removing glitter polish. I'm still on the hunt for that one.
If you have any remover recommendations feel free to leave them below. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
XO,
Anette

Cuckoo for this Color...doesn't even begin to cover it.

Today's nail polish is from the new OPI Swiss Fall 2010 Collection. Not many colors attracted to this line. (too many frosty grandma colors for me)

When I saw this color at my local utla I couldn't walk away.
This color is so unique. it's a peacock blueish/green and the Formulation is great... Not to thick or Sheer.

OPI Cuckoo for this color is going to be my staple fall color and I'm already planning on having this on my toes ASAP.I just love darker colors on my toes!

This is the only color I purchased from the Swiss collection but I haven't been able to get "ski teal we drop" out of my head.

More to come soon,
Anette

Fresh Start.

Hello and Welcome,
This is my very first attempt at a blog. My Name is Anette and if you haven't figured it out yet. I adore nail polish. This fascination started a few months back and it's gotten so out of hand (no pun intended) I decide to give this bloggy business a shot...so here I go.

Since summer is almost over and fall is right around the corner many makeup and polish companies have been releasing their fall collections. The first was Urban Decay and their infamous "Naked" palette.

As soon as I saw this I got inspired..since "naked" or neutral eyes were making a commotion in the beauty world, why not make the nails nude as well and complete the look. For me this was love at first sight. Insert OPI Samoan Sand

I think this color is perfect if you're looking for a natural yet put together look. It goes perfect with my skin tone. This is what is on my nails for the week.

What about you, what color perfectly complements your skin tone and gives you that flawless look?
